Stephanie Webster
Marketing Manager | Wordsmith
“Talent shouldn’t exist in a vacuum or to benefit a select few—it should be shared and celebrated by everyone.”
Work at HAI
Stephanie is the new Marketing Manager and is excited to “start spreading the news” about the amazing services that HAI provides. Her duties include being responsible for coordinating social media posts, content writing, Heroic Headshots, website maintenance, and anything else that will boost sales and recognition.
Path to HAI
Prior to joining HAI, Stephanie most recently spent nearly two years as the reference supervisor for a public library in Indiana. Before that, she spent almost two decades as Associate Professor of English and department chair for the schools of English, communication, and languages. For two years she was the director of the Writing Center on campus and successfully led marketing efforts to grow the tutoring program. Her time in academia and at the library was spent researching, blogging, educating, and glutting knowledge. Rhetoric is her passion, and she is excited to use that passion to help market the talented humans and services of History Associates Incorporated.
In the early 2000s, Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with coursework in rhetoric, literature, creative writing, and composition from Ball State University, with a minor in Latin. She also earned a Master of Arts in English from the same institution. Her graduate program awarded her an assistantship at Bracken Library where she taught research methods and information literacy to all incoming freshmen. In 2021, Stephanie started a Master of Library and Information Science degree at the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee and plans to finish that degree by the end of 2023. Her main focus is torn between information retrieval and archiving right now.
