Product Details

The purchase of one (1) interview includes preliminary research, a virtual 60–90 minute interview, a signed release form, and an interview transcript. We will deliver final audio and video files in both .mp3 and .mp4 format, as well as the transcript in Microsoft Word format. All products will be reviewed and edited for quality assurance.

Your purchase includes a remote/virtual interview conducted over a platform such as Zoom, with commensurate audio and video quality. The interviewee must have access to a computer and a strong Internet connection. Should you wish to pursue an in-person or audio-only interview, please get in touch with us to discuss these options. The per-interview price does not include any travel costs.

After discussing your needs and goals, our experienced oral historian will conduct research into each interviewee, and develop a list of potential themes or questions to guide the interview. We will conduct a remote, 60-90 minute interview via a web conferencing platform like Zoom. You will receive an audio and video recording, as well as a transcription of the interview. If needed, we can provide a sample release form for the interview so that it can become the property of your organization.

We will begin with a conversation to discuss your goals and vision for the interview and how you want to use it. We can discuss any points of sensitivity that may arise during the interview to ensure we are prepared to address those topics with care. If you have biographical information on the interviewee, we ask that you please provide it to aid in the research process.

We will rely on you to introduce our oral historian to the interviewee and coordinate the scheduling of the interview. You will have the opportunity to review and provide feedback on the list of interview questions and themes. We will take care of the rest!

The purchase of a blog post includes one version of the blog post delivered in either Microsoft Word or Google Docs. We will complete a detailed read through of the blog for spelling, grammar, factual accuracy, and quality control before delivery, but a professional copyedit of the post is not included. You are free to make any changes to the post before publishing it, but HAI will not be responsible for any further changes, or for any inaccuracies or other errors added to our delivered product.

Your purchase hires our team as ghostwriters; therefore, we will not include HAI accreditation in any delivered blog posts. You will have full rights to the content we produce. We may ask you if we can share your blog on our social media platforms or highlight the project as past performance or a case study on our website. HAI will not be responsible for posting the blog to your website, or for any SEO keywords research.

We will provide two or three public domain images that you can include with the blog, although there may be some topics (such as recent events) for which such images are not available. If you have images in an internal archive that you would like to use, we ask that you make the files available to us so that we can draft captions.

If possible, we will also source 2-3 public domain images to accompany the blog, with brief image captions to provide context and a credit line. We will deliver the final blog package in Microsoft Word or Google Docs format.

We will take some time up front to fully understand your needs and get our research services underway. We estimate that we can provide the first blog post within two or three (2-3) weeks of our initial kickoff call. If you purchase a package, we will work with you to determine whether batch or rolling delivery makes the most sense for you. Whenever possible, we will also source a public domain image to accompany each post, or an image from your internal collections. We will deliver the content in Microsoft Word or Google Docs format.
