Historian Nik Taylor conducts a variety of historical and litigation projects. His broad research experience and interests include issues of environmental and occupational health, military history, copyright, and forensic musicology.
He earned a PhD in music history from Indiana University in 2014. His dissertation, “The Published Church Cantatas of Georg Philipp Telemann,” examines the commercial context and dissemination of hundreds of works from the early eighteenth century. Dr. Taylor’s work has been supported by the American-Scandinavian Foundation and the American Bach Society, and he has presented his research at several national and international conferences.
