Research historian Anna Snyder conducts historical, museum, and litigation research. She held a fellowship at History Associates before joining the team full-time. Previously she interned at Ford’s Theatre where she helped build Remembering Lincoln, an award-winning digital collection of responses to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. She also completed internships with various Smithsonian Institutions, including the National Museum of American History, National Postal Museum, and the Smithsonian Gardens. Ms. Snyder earned her B.A. in history and a minor in anthropology from Binghamton University, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Alpha Theta. She studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh where she focused on European history and in 2016, she received her M.A. in public history from American University.
