Mr. Rogers is an associate director at Westat, a social science research, statistical analysis, and evidence-based communications company headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. Prior to joining Westat, he was founder and president of Fenestra Technologies, an innovative information technology services company. Mr. Rogers has also directed several software engineering projects for private sector and federal government customers and is an innovator who holds two patents in the areas of metadata management and digital archives. Mr. Rogers played a key role in Lockheed Martin’s team for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Electronic Records Archives (ERA) program. He continues to support several electronic survey projects for the U.S. Census Bureau and a cloud-based video collection and tagging system for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Mr. Rogers earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Carleton College and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
Mr. Rogers performs service in the Frederick, Maryland, community serving as chairman of the local Boy Scouts districts and as a member of the Tech Frederick advisory board, the Community Foundation of Frederick County’s scholarship committee, and the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek.
