Reynolds (Ren) Cahoon is founder and president of Reynolds Cahoon LLC, serving public, private sector, and higher education organizations as an advisor on strategy, the role of information management in business transformation, and digital preservation. For more than thirty-five years he has been assisting organizations worldwide in managing and preserving their most important materials. He has served as director of advanced programs for Lockheed Martin, senior advisor on electronic records to the Archivist of the United States, assistant archivist and CIO for the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration, and managing director of the Family History Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Cahoon has also served on the International Council on Archives Automation Committee, Board of the Civil War Trust, International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists, and Executive Committee of the Federal CIO Council.
