Work at HAI

For the past 10 years, Nancy has provided project and business support to the entire HAI team. As a copy editor, she helps the team deliver polished proposals and written products. She supports finance with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and coordinates with staff to ensure that archival supplies are processed and delivered to client sites worldwide in order to fulfill project work.

Nancy sits front and center in the reception area of the office and has the privilege of being one of the first people to greet inbound callers and meet job seekers, allowing her to be a part of everyone’s overall HAI experience. 

Path to HAI

Nancy came to HAI in 2010 with 25 years of professional experience in a variety of industries. At CureSearch-National Childhood Cancer Foundation she was responsible for day-to-day facility operations, including office services, mailings, conference room and AV coordination, security, and internal office moves. She identified and performed data entry for all public financial donations and supported development and communications staff with event planning and research projects. 

Prior to CureSearch, she provided client service and human resources support to TWG Marketing, helping to take it from a start-up company to a business with $15M in annual revenue. After college, she worked as a Legal Assistant at the Washington, D.C., office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where she was promoted to supervise a department of 72 entry level and lateral legal assistants.

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland. She is a Maryland Notary Public and a member of the American Copy Editors Society.
