Work at HAI
Kaley is new to the HAI team and brings experience from university archives, law libraries, and corporate archives. As an archivist with HAI, Kaley works with her team and clients to increase access and the preservation of materials in both the physical and digital spaces. Her background in history drives her passion for ensuring that all people are represented in our records and stories.
Path to HAI
Kaley earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in History from Florida Gulf Coast University where she focused her work on women’s history and Irish history. She also served as an oral historian and assisted in developing collections and exhibits for FGCU’s Archives and Special Collections. She went on to complete her MLIS at the University of Maryland with a specialization in archives, special collections, and digital curation. While completing her MLIS, Kaley worked and interns with organizations like the UMD University Archives, the Department of Justice Law Library, and a corporate archive. After completing her MLIS, she served as a Reference Librarian with Washington College of Law and as the University Archivist for Florida Gulf Coast University.
