Work at HAI
Jacob joined HAI in July 2021 and works on arranging, describing and processing a variety of collections. Jacob has a keen eye for detail and is meticulous in making sure that he has all the necessary information in order to tell stories of the collections that he is responsible for. Jacob’s varied experiences have made him adaptable and able to work on wide a range of subject matters. Jacob enjoys learning something new with each collection that he works on.
Path to HAI
Prior to joining HAI, Jacob received his BA in Journalism from Roger Williams University in 2014, after which he worked as Production Assistant at WWE. He then earned his MS in Archives Management from Simmons College in 2017. During his time at Simmons, Jacob had internships at the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, the Center for Independent Documentary and at the Cambridge Public Library. After graduating, Jacob worked at the MIT Technology Licensing Office and then at Amazon in their Alexa Data Services Department.
