This new storytelling series is close to our hearts and highlights everyday people who share our passion for history. Laura Osburnsen, VP of Growth Marketing at History Associates, reflects, “The idea that History Is for Everyone struck me as I thought about what first drew me to History Associates seven years ago as a marketing consultant, and what brought me back in early 2025 to lead marketing and strategy. My personal passion and curiosity for history shape my efforts here every day. It is a privilege to collaborate with CEO Beth Maser and this incredibly talented team, and I know the work we do for our clients truly matters. As I casually chat with friends and family about history and heritage topics, I have come to understand that the stories that stay with us are not always found in history books. They are quietly carried through time, waiting for someone curious enough to uncover them.”
Our Milestone Collective creative partner, Billy Mitchell, shares a similar view: “The more I learn, the more I realize history isn’t reserved for scholars or museums. It’s found in our neighborhoods, businesses, families, and communities. Sometimes it’s simply a story a grandparent tells that reshapes how you see the world.
