For offices needing long-term archives support or a variety of services, History Associates will customize our approach by embedding an archivist within the DC office on the office's preferred schedule or conducting an assessment and providing recommendations for next steps. By proactively undertaking archival and records management work, HAI's team can reduce digital and physical clutter and make information easier for staff to find, increasing efficiency and productivity.

When closeout time comes, HAI eases the burden on staff. Our team methodically inventories and packs paper, photographs, memorabilia, and digital files for shipment to a repository. We also provide consultation services to navigate the donation process, including repository selection, deed of gift review, and direct collaboration with the office and repository to ensure a smooth transfer.
