Valerie Vanden Bossche
Archivist Valerie Vanden Bossche is working on a project for the National Park Service, performing archival processing, arrangement, and description services for various collections. Prior to joining History Associates, Ms. Vanden Bossche worked as an archivist for the Friends School of Baltimore, and she also processed curatorial collections at The Phillips Collection. In addition to processing collections, she also has experience in writing finding aids, digitizing documents, researching and executing an exhibit, and performing research and reference assistance as a graduate assistant, and later as a coordinator in the Historical Manuscripts unit of Special Collections at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Ms. Vanden Bossche earned her master's degree in library science with a concentration in archives from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2008. She holds a BA in French from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California, and a Library Technology Certificate from Pasadena City College. Ms. Vanden Bossche is a member of the Society of American Archivists, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference, and the Art Libraries Society of North America.
