Robert Colby

Research historian Robert Colby conducts historical and litigation research. He graduated with high honors from the University of Virginia with a BA in history and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. His senior thesis, "When Christian Forbearance Ceases to be a Virtue: The Virginia Clergy in the Secession Crisis," won the Stephen Innes Memorial Prize for the best essay on the community in history. Mr. Colby previously interned for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System as well as the Center for History and the New Media at George Mason University.
