HAI Project Work Featured in Wall Street Journal and Washington Post

Research conducted by History Associates Incorporated on behalf of J.P. Morgan Chase & Company has received a great deal of media attention from some of America's most well-respected newspapers as well as a host of on-line news outlets.

J.P. Morgan commissioned the research in response to the City of Chicago's passing of an ordinance requiring companies with which it does business to research and disclose any links to slavery. An increasing number of U.S. cities, including Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Detroit, have adopted disclosure regulations similar to Chicago's, leaving banks hungry for specialized research on slaves used as collateral.

History Associates provides business, government, and nonprofit clients with professional historical research, writing, archives, and records management services. For more information, or for help in conducting historical research into slave assets, call (301) 279-9697 or visit www.historyassociates.com.
