HAI Historian Rodney Carlisle Authors New Book on the Persian Gulf War

Dr. Rodney Carlisle of History Associates Incorporated (HAI) based in Rockville, Maryland, has authored Persian Gulf War. This book is the latest in a series of popular America at War books produced by the Facts on File Corporation. Persian Gulf War shows how the war has affected policies and attitudes toward military involvement in foreign countries in every echelon of American society. Perhaps equally important is that this volume encourages the reader to consider what war means today, as President Bush wages a war on terrorism and attempts to disarm Iraq by military force, if necessary. Carlisle, an emeritus professor of history at Rutgers University and one of the founding members of HAI, is the author of more than a dozen other books, including the Complete Idiot's Guide© to Spies and Espionage.

History Associates provides business, government, and nonprofit clients with professional historical research, writing, archives, and records management services. For more information, call (301) 279-9697 or visit www.historyassociates.com.
