HAI Historians Carlisle and Lide Author New Complete Idiot's Guide to Communism

Drs. Rodney Carlisle and James H. Lide of History Associates Incorporated (HAI) based in Rockville, Maryland, have authored The Complete Idiot's Guide to Communism. The popular Complete Idiot's Guide© (CIG) series offers books with topics as disparate as vampires, investing, computers, and screenwriting. The CIG to Communism contains a complete examination of the ideology and history of one of the most powerful movements of the twentieth century, all with clear, understandable explanations and entertaining anecdotes and sidebars. Carlisle, an emeritus professor of history at Rutgers University and one of the founding members of HAI, is the author of more than a dozen other books on the history of science and technology and on political history, but writing Communism was a new experience for him. "We worked to condense the best of recent objective research on the topic to produce a readable, accurate, and balanced treatment accessible to the general reader," Carlisle said.

History Associates provides business, government, and nonprofit clients with professional historical research, writing, archives, and records management services. For more information, call (301) 279-9697 or visit www.historyassociates.com.
