Matthew Morrill

Research historian Matthew Morrill conducts historical and litigation research.  He graduated cum laude from the College of William & Mary with a BA in history. In the past he interned with the Jonathan Corwin House Museum and the James City County Planning Department and was also a Summer Fellow with Historic Deerfield, Inc. Mr. Morrill received highest honors for his senior thesis entitled "The Development of Merchants Square: Colonial Imagery and the Consequences of Redevelopment in Williamsburg, Virginia and Other Small Towns, 1910-1955," which focused on the effects of automobile-oriented shopping centers in several historic municipalities.
