Jim McIntyre, C.A.

Archivist/records manager Jim McIntyre, C.A., works on a variety of projects for History Associates. He has conducted records and memorabilia inventories for members of the U.S. Congress, using MS Access databases, and has participated in preservation projects for governmental agencies, including the Library of Congress, one of which is ongoing. He has also processed and described collections and has written collection and access policies for private organizations.

Mr. McIntyre earned his bachelor's degree in English literature with a minor in political science from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a master's degree in library and information science with an archival concentration from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He is a member of the Society of American Archivists (SAA) and the Academy of Certified Archivists (ACA) and is also an intermediate advanced-level student of the French language at the Alliance Francaise of Washington, D.C.
