History Associates Incorporated Helps Civil War Preservation Trust Prepare for Civil War's 150th Anniversary

For the past several months History Associates Incorporated (HAI) has been helping the Civil War Preservation Trust (CWPT) prepare a brochure describing the significance of the Civil War Sesquicentennial for the nation, as well as CWPT's suitability as the sesquicentennial leader during the 2011-2015 celebration.

CWPT is America's largest nonprofit organization devoted to the preservation of the nation's endangered Civil War battlefields and has helped save more than 23,200 acres in eighteen states. CWPT also promotes educational programs and heritage tourism to inform the public of the war's history and the fundamental conflicts that sparked it.

HAI's Garry Adelman is preparing a brochure highlighting these accomplishments for CWPT's 70,000 members, corporate and other donors, media outlets, and organizations who wish to partner with CWPT to make the Civil War Sesquicentennial a powerful and meaningful experience for the whole nation. The brochure is a first step in what will become an international series of events starting around 2011.
