HAI Historian Keith R. Allen Speaks at the University of Basel, Switzerland

Today the director of History Associates Incorporated's (HAI) European Area Office, Dr. Keith R. Allen, lectured at the University of Basel, Switzerland, which was ranked by the London Times in October 2006 as one of the 100 best universities in the world. Speaking in German, Dr. Allen presented HAI's business model to students of Dr. Johanna Gisler, director of the Swiss Economic Archives. Dr. Allen explained how HAIers interact in teams of professionals, demonstrating history's relevance to the challenges facing today's financial institutions, corporations, and law firms.

The Swiss Economic Archives is the most important public repository of business records in Switzerland. During the past decade HAI has evaluated documentation housed there and at many other facilities in that Alpine nation for a variety of historical investigations.
